Moalem Weitemeyer assisted Danish private equity fund Polaris’ portfolio company Designers Company, the company behind MENU, with its add-on acquisition of Brdr. Petersen and global rights for all Ib Kofod-Larsen designs.

The transaction forms part of Designers Company’s proven heritage design collection strategy, according to which Designers Company A/S earlier this year acquired another Danish design company, by Lassen ApS, a transaction on which Moalem Weitemeyer also advised as legal counsel.
