Sports Strategy Excellence 22 exercises warrant and triggers public mandatory takeover offer to all shareholders in Aalborg Boldspilklub.

In connection with the completed rights issue in 2023 in Aalborg Boldspilklub, Sports Strategy Excellence 22 was granted warrants, entitling Sports Strategy Excellence 22 to subscribe for a total of 1,344,781 new shares in Aalborg Boldspilklub. 

Sports Strategy Excellence 22 has exercised warrants and subscribed for 1,025,727 new shares in Aalborg Boldspilklub, generating gross proceeds corresponding to DKK 45,400,000, which will further strengthen Aalborg Boldspilklub’s sports domain, including the AaB Academy. 

Sports Strategy Excellence 22 now owns 50.51% of the share capital of Aalborg Boldspilklub, which triggers a public mandatory takeover offer to all shareholders in Aalborg Boldspilklub.

Moalem Weitemeyer is acting as legal counsel to Aalborg Boldspilklub in connection with the exercise of the warrants and the mandatory takeover offer.
