DSV TO ACQUIRE SCHENKER

DSV has signed an agreement with Deutsche Bahn today to acquire the global freight forwarding and contract logistics business DB Schenker operated by Schenker AG in an all-cash transaction. The transaction value (Enterprise value) is EUR 14.3 billion (approximately DKK 107 billion).

The acquisition of Schenker is a transformative transaction for DSV, creating a world-leading player within the global transport and logistics industry with a combined revenue of approximately DKK 293 billion (pro-forma 2023 financials) and around 147,000 employees across more than 90 countries.

Together with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and 29 other law firms, Moalem Weitemeyer advised DSV with all legal aspects of the transaction.
