Agreement on the extension of the salary compensation period and gradual phase-out

Som følge af COVID-19-situationen indgik regeringen og arbejdsmarkedets parter tilbage i marts 2020 aftale om etablering af en midlertidig lønkompensationsordning. Ordningen gav under en række betingelser virksomheder mulighed for at få kompenseret 75 % af de samlede lønudgifter for de omfattede medarbejderes månedsløn, dog maksimalt kr. 30.000 pr. måned pr. omfattet fuldtidsansat medarbejder. Formålet med denne ordning var og er at begrænse antallet af afskedigelser i de private virksomheder som følge af COVID-19-situationen.
